GUIDELINES FOR CHAIRS | ORAL PRESENTATIONS | E-POSTERS

CHAIRS

  • Familiarize yourself with the subjects of your Session and get to know  the Speakers before the Session starts.
  • Contact your co-Chair prior to the Session.
  • Be at the Session room some 10-15 minutes before the Session starts and make sure everything is ready.
  • Have at least one question prepared in case there are none from the audience.
  • Observe the time set for your Session meticulously. No presentation should exceed the allocated 15 minutes and your Session as a whole must begin and end at the exact times set on the Programme.
  • Sessions and breaks will be running in parallel in three different rooms, so it is essential that they are all running on time.
  • Before the Session starts and before each presentation, please remind the Speakers to respect the time limit. Make use of the provided countdown clocks and warn the Speakers before their time runs out.
  • In case of a Speaker no-show, please use the additional time for interactive discussion with the audience.
