Robert Orford

Dr. Orford is a recognized national and international expert in preventive, occupational and aerospace medicine. He has served as Deputy Minister responsible for public health and occupational health & safety in Alberta, Canada, followed by a medical career at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Mayo Clinic Healthcare London, and Mayo Clinic Arizona, where he was Chair of the Division of Preventive and Occupational Medicine and and an FAA-designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. He served as Medical Consultant and Joint Medical Director for Northwest Airlines and has been President of the International Airline Medical Association in addition to the Arizona Medical Association and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is President-elect of the Aerospace Medical Association (2023-24) and Scientific Committee Chair for the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, the Aerospace Medical Association, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American College of Preventive Medicine, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
